How to Do the Uber in Diablo 2 Quest

The Pandemonium Event, also known as the Uber Event, for Diablo 2 was added in patch 1.11. Players gather keys to unlock portals that lead them to Tristram. Here they battle all prime evils. Players get unique charms as a reward for beating these evils. Uber Tristram bosses are the highest level monsters in the game. Because of this, it is one of the best places in the game to earn experience at high levels.

Instructions

- 1
  Level up a character that is capable of defeating the game through hell difficulty. This allows you to go through the acts in any order that you want.

  Defeat the Summoner in Act 2 on hell difficulty. Pick up the key if one gets dropped, and move to Act 1.
- 3
  Defeat the Countess in Act 1 on hell difficulty, and pick up any key that she drops. Move to Act 5.

  Defeat Nihlathak in Act 5, and pick up any keys.

  Repeat Steps 2 through 4 until you have three copies of each key.

  Go to Harragoth on Hell difficulty. It is the main city in Act 5. You can be anywhere in the city.

  Put one of each of the three keys into your Horadric Cube, and push the button to transmute them. This will open a red portal.

  Defeat whichever boss is inside the portal. It could be Uber Duriel, Uber Izual or Lillith. Take the boss's dropped item.

  Repeat Steps 6 through 8 two more times. This will use all three copies of the lesser keys you received earlier.

  Place the items you received from Duriel, Izual and Lillith in the Horadric Cube, and press the button to transmute them. This will open a new red portal. You should still be in Harragoth when you do this.

  Enter the portal to Uber Tristram. Defeat the hordes of monsters that appear there.
- 12
  After killing all of the lesser monsters, kill Uber Mephisto, Pandemonium Diablo and Uber Baal.
