On Dante's Inferno How Do I Get Past My Hell?

"Dante's Inferno" is an action role-playing game by IGN, inspired by the epic poem "The Divine Comedy" by Dante Alighieri. A player takes the role of Dante, a templar knight who fights his way through hell to retrieve his beloved Beatrice from the devil, Lucifer. The game involves going through the levels of hell: Limbo, Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Anger, Heresy, Violence, Fraud and Treachery. The only way to get past hell is to exit out of Treachery, the lair of Lucifer himself. Expect to have to restart the last save a few times for this final fight.

Instructions

  Break the gate that blocks your way to jumping down into Lucifer's lair. Save the game. Jump. A cut scene ensues. Enjoy it.

  Immediately hit Lucifer with your holy cross attacks. Ignore your melee weapons because you can't reach Lucifer's weak spot -- his head. Hit Lucifer with your holy cross as much as possible.

  Jump when his fist nearly hits the ground. His fist sends out shock waves that damage you. By jumping at the right moment you avoid the damage.

  Shoot Lucifer with your crosses in the fiery spot on his chest when he rolls back stunned from your attacks. When Lucifer's health gets down to about one-fifth, another cut scene ensues. Now Lucifer jumps out of his shell and really starts the fight.

  Avoid Lucifer's sword melee attack, flame attacks, staff shockwave attack and teleportation energy attacks as much as possible. Block, dodge and jump to avoid the damage. Turn on holy armor as much as possible. Turn on redemption to lower the damage you take from his energy attacks. Attack him with your scythe combos and magic, including the holy cross and whatever else you've amassed up to this point, such as the Bile of Ciacco relic. Defeat Lucifer and the souls of those you have freed on your way through hell release you from it, back to the world of the living.
