How to Call a Vote on Assault Cube

"AssaultCube" is a free online multiplayer first-person shooter for Windows PC, Linux and Mac-based computer systems. AssaultCube includes a variety of maps and game modes, including co-op, deathmatch, capture the flag and survivor. To manage game play and switch between maps and game modes, players can select a game mode or map and call a vote to switch to that game mode or map. You can start a vote through the in-game menu or through the "AssaultCube" chat and command interface.

  Press the "Escape" key while playing "AssaultCube" in a multiplayer game mode to open the in-game menu. Click the "Set mode/map" entry in the in-game menu to open the voting menu.

  Click an entry in the voting menu to call a vote on the issue, such as scrambling teams or banning players. Some entries in the voting menu will open additional menus, such as when calling a vote to change the game mode or the map. Click on the specific entry in these menus to call votes on the entry.

  Press the "T" key while playing "AssaultCube" to open the chat line, then type "/" to activate the command interface. Type a command in the command interface and press the "Enter" key to submit the command. To call a vote to switch to the Mines map in Capture the Flag mode, for example, type "/ctf ac_mines" in the command interface and press the "Enter" key.
