How to Slide in AQW

"AdventureQuest Worlds" (AQW) is a popular massively multi-player online role-playing game in a constant state of evolution, with new content added each week. Free to join, AQW offers characters the opportunity to multi-class, have their own home, obtain pets and participate in live events. Characters have the ability to slide along the ground on their knees. Although there is not a specific command console option to slide, sliding is a simple skill to learn.

  Log in to your AQW account.

  Find an open area with plenty of space for your character to move. This is the best way to learn to slide. Once you get the hang of it, it's easy to do it in more crowded areas.

  Position your character at either the left or the right side of the screen. Click on the opposite side of the screen to begin running in that direction.

  Click on the red and blue heart-shaped icon in the toolbar at the bottom of the screen as soon as your character begins to move. Your character will begin gliding on his/her feet and then fall to the knees and slide along the ground.
