How to Get the MCLawl Working in Minecraft

"Minecraft" is a video game which lets users shape their own world by using various excavation tools to remove blocks from the map. They can then use some of the minerals which they found in the excavated blocks to purchase or build additional tools. MCLawl is an open-source server which you can install and use with your normal "Minecraft" installation to enjoy some new maps. You can set it up in just a few steps.

  Open your web browser and visit the MCLawl download page to download the .rar file which contains all required files. Right-click on the file when your browser has finished downloading it and select "Extract." Select the following directory in the file browser: "C:\Program Files\Minecraft\config" and click on "Extract" to finish extracting the files to that location.

  Launch Minecraft by clicking on the game's shortcut in your Windows Start menu.

  Click on the "Tools" tab and select "MCLawl 1.2" in the "config" drop-down menu.

  Click on "OK" to go back to the main menu and start a new game by clicking on "Generate." Minecraft will now load the MCLawl server files and connect you to the appropriate map.
