How to Put in a Tamagotchi V4.5 Code

Tamagotchis -- those lovable virtual pets that are cleaner and cheaper than a puppy -- have expanded their interactivity to include online support. With Tamagotchi 4.5, users are able to record special codes from their Tamagotchi and enter them into Tamatown.com. These codes grant access to special virtual mementos of your adventures with your Tamagotchi, both in Tamatown and on your virtual pet.

Instructions

  Play your Tamagotchi as normal. When you travel or unlock new items, you will sometimes receive a code for online use. Write down the code.

  Visit Tamatown.com.

  Press the "Create A Free Account" button on the right side of the screen. Fill out all of the required information, and press "Next." You will be asked to enter your parents' email address.

  Have your parents check their email address to verify the account. They must follow the link in the email from Tamatown and enter the activation code provided. Once activation is completed, log in using the username and password you created.

  Press the "Special Code" icon on the right side of the screen. The icon is a present with backwards "C" on it.

  Enter the code from your Tamagotchi and press "OK."
