How to Chat in AQW

The online game "AdventureQuest Worlds" lets players chat during gameplay. Players can send messages to either everyone on the screen or a specific person. This can be used to for purposes including talking strategy, sharing tips and general discussion. Players can also respond to private messages, or "tells," from other players with a specific tag attached to the message. Players must use the name of the other character, marked clearly on the screen, to communicate with them using a private message.

     Find the chat box marked on the bottom left of the screen. Left-click the box to activate the chat.

     Type your message. Click "Send" or press enter to send the chat message.

     Type "/tell" plus the player's name and your message. Press "Enter" to send the private message.

     Enter "/r" plus the player's name and your message for replies to private messages. Press "Enter" to send the message.
