How to Get on a Vehicle in LEGO Island

In the "LEGO Island" PC game, you play as Pepper, a pizza delivery boy who is skilled at building and skateboarding. He's the hero of the title and well-known by the island's inhabitants. This gives him access to many of the vehicles on the island and allows him to participate in races and explore the island quickly. Getting on or into the vehicles in order to drive them is simple and uses a context-sensitive command to start driving.

Instructions

- 1
  Walk up to one of the vehicles in the game. For example, you can find the ambulance in the Hospital area or find Pepper's skateboard near the Pizzeria.

  Turn your character toward the vehicle. A driving icon -- a small, blue picture of a steering wheel -- will appear in the lower left corner of the screen.

  Click the vehicle to drive it. Pepper will get into or onto the vehicle, and it is now at your control.
- 4
  Drive the vehicle using the arrow keys or the mouse, depending on the control style you have selected.
- 5
  Click outside the vehicle to exit it.
