How to Remove a Nameplate in World of Warcraft

"World of Warcaft," Blizzard Entertainment's massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), allows players to participate in large-scale battles against both computer-controlled characters and player-controlled characters. Depending on the user interface settings a player has chosen, nameplates may be displayed for each character on-screen. The nameplates can make it difficult to keep track of what is happening, especially when there are many characters on screen at one time. It is possible to turn of the nameplates by adjusting the user interface settings.
