How to Install City of the Daleks in the US

"City of the Daleks" is the first game in a four part series featuring Dr. Who. For gamers in the United Kingdom, the full series is free to download and play. Those outside the UK can purchase the second, third and fourth titles off of Direct2Drive. The first title, "City of Daleks," is free regardless of region, though. Players can download and install it as they would any other free software. In total, the installation package is 331 mebabytes.

Instructions

  Download "City of the Daleks." A link is provided in Resources.

  Double-click on the installation package. Click "Run" to start the installation.

  Check the radio button next to "I accept the agreement" and then click next.

  Select a directory to install the game to. The default location works, though if you want to install your games elsewhere, do so by clicking "Browse" and navigating to your preferred choice. Click "Next."

  Check the box next to "Create a Desktop Icon" if you want to access the game from your desktop. Otherwise, uncheck it. Click "Next" and then "Install." Wait for the installation process to complete.

  Click "Finish" to finalize installation.
