How to Get the Terminator in GTA San Andreas

The "Grand Theft Auto San Andreas" video game was released on the PC in the summer of 2005. The open world of Grand Theft Auto allows you to freely explore a fictional world set in 1992 that closely resembles the areas around Los Angles, San Francisco and Las Vegas. The PC version is open to modifications that can be downloaded online. One mod, called the "Terminator 2 Judgment Game," changes a number of looks and features of the original game to mimic the 1990s film "Terminator 2: Judgment Day."

Instructions

    • 1

Uninstall your GTA game and reinstall it without any downloaded updates. You need a non-updated version of the game installed to get the mod to work.

    • 2

Visit the Moddb Terminator 2 mod website and click on the "downloads" page.

    • 3

Click the link that says "GTA SA Terminator 2 Judgment Game MOD PART 1."

    • 4

Click "Download Now" then choose to save the file to your computer when the download pop-up appears. The file is almost 700 MB and will take a while to finish downloading.

    • 5

Open your Windows game folder by clicking "Start," then "Computer," then "C:" or whichever drive you installed the game. Navigate to "Program Files," "Rockstar" and open the "GTA SAN ANDREAS" folder.

    • 6

Double-click on the downloaded file to extract the contents. There are 11 different "PACK" files in your downloaded mod. Each pack needs to be opened and the contents need to be copied to specific game folders.

    • 7

Copy the following packs to the corresponding folders and agree to replace existing files when prompted: "PACK 1" goes in your "GTA SAN ANDREAS" main directory, "PACK 2" in "GTA SAN ANDREAS/AUDIO/SFX," "PACK 3" in "GTA SAN ANDREAS/AUDIO/CONFIG," "PACK 4" in "GTA SAN ANDREAS/DATA," "PACK 5" in "GTA SAN ANDREAS/DATA/SCRIPT," "PACK 6" in "GTA SAN ANDREAS/DATA/MAPS/COUNTRY," "PACK 7" in GTA SAN ANDREAS/DATA/MAPS/INTERIOR," "PACK 8" in "GTA SAN ANDREAS/MODELS," "PACK 9" in "GTA SAN ANDREAS/MODELS/txd," "PACK 10" in "GTA SAN ANDREAS/MOVIES" and "PACK 11" in "GTA SAN ANDREAS/text".
