How to Pan Out in World of Warcraft Using a Laptop

"World of Warcraft," released in 2004, scales well with computer hardware, making it ideal for a variety of computers, ranging from a PC with the latest hardware to your laptop. On the PC, you can zoom, or pan, the camera out behind your character by using your mouse's scroll wheel. However, most laptops do not have a scroll wheel. It is still possible to pan the camera out without a scroll wheel by using the keyboard commands for the camera.

     Press and hold the "End" key on your laptop to zoom the camera out, behind your character.

     Press and hold the "Home" key on your laptop to zoom the camera in closer to your character.

     Log out of "World of Warcraft" and log back in to reset the view to default.
