How to Play Baldur's Gate 2 With 2 Main Characters

"Baldur's Gate 2: Shadows of Amn" is a computer-based role-playing game. Typically, players control a single character and take him on a quest to resolve the conflict between Baldur's Gate and the neighboring country, Amn. Along the way, he's joined by up to five companions. The developers pregenerated these characters, giving the player minimal control over their starting statistics and abilities. If a player wants, he can start a multiplayer game and create two or more main characters. He can then control them both in single player mode, giving him ultimate control over his party.

     Click on "Multiplayer" in the Main Menu.

     Hit "Connect" and then "Serial."

     Push "Create Game."

     Enter your name and a name for the multiplayer campaign. Click "Start Game."

     Create two main characters or more, if you're so inclined. Follow the standard character creation rules of rolling for attribute points, choosing a race and class, customizing your avatar and selecting starter abilities.

     Put a check-mark next to the characters you want to be your main characters. Click "Done" to start a new game with two or more main characters. You control them both as you would any other party member.
