How to Be a Vampire in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

In "The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion," a role-playing game developed by Bethesda Studios, it is possible for a player to become a vampire. Vampirism is a communicable disease in the "Elder Scrolls" world, and being inflicted with it grants the player several positive bonuses. Any potential vampire must also take into consideration the negative aspects of being a child of the night. A vampire player must constantly feed on humans in order to blend into the population, and exposure to daylight will cause damage to the player.

     Battle a vampire and allow it to hit you until you contract the disease "Porphyric Hemophilia." You can often find vampires in crypts and dungeons scattered throughout the game world.

     Press "Select" and choose to wait three days worth of game time.

     Sleep in any bed. This will cause you to have fevered dreams, and when you awake you will be a vampire.
