How Do I Move Gravestones on The Sims 3?

In "The Sims 3," a life simulation game, your objective is to create a family and guide them through life. When a Sim dies, he leaves behind only a gravestone where the rest of the family can grieve. The gravestone is typically set wherever the Sim died. For example, a drowned Sim leaves a gravestone next to the pool. Sometimes, it can appear in an inconvenient place. However, you can move it out of the way.

     Press "F2" to switch into "Buy Mode."

     Click the gravestone with your mouse. A hand will pick it up.

     Click wherever you want the gravestone to be. The hand will release the gravestone, successfully moving it to its new location.

     Click the gravestone and drag it around to change its position. For example, if you accidentally place it facing left, you can drag it to make it face right.
