How to Play a Sim You Moved Out of the Active Household on Sims 3

"The Sims 3" is a game designed to mimic real life and lets you influence how your created family lives its life. For example, kids can grow up to become adults and subsequently move out of the house. If you decide you want to play as someone who has moved out of the house, you need to change the active household to the one where your Sim moved.

     Load your "Sims 3" save game.

     Click the ellipses button on the lower left-hand corner of your screen.

   • 3

     Select "Edit Town." Wait for the next screen to load. This may take many minutes.

     Click "Change Active Household."

     Click the house where you moved your Sim. Confirm your selection when prompted.
