Oblivion Attribute Cheats

"The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion" is an open-world role-playing game in which you create a character who can explore and fight through a large world. These characters have attributes, or values that determine how powerful their skills are and how much health and Magicka they have. Use the console commands to cheat by increasing your character's attributes.
  1. Fighting Attributes

    • Each character has eight basic attributes. Agility affects a character's total Fatigue, or energy level, as well as increasing the damage he does with ranged weapons, so it is a useful attribute for an archer. Strength affects a character's Fatigue and determines how much he can carry, and how much damage he does with melee attacks. A character using a sword or other melee weapon benefits from Strength. Intelligence affects a character's total Magicka, the resource he uses to cast spells.

    Other Attributes

    • Endurance affects both Fatigue and Health totals. A higher Endurance means higher health and a greater increase in Health when a character gains a level. Personality makes interactions with nonplayer characters easier and makes them like the character more. This means lower prices at stores and makes it easier to gain information. Speed determines how fast a character runs and walks. Willpower affects Fatigue and the rate at which Magicka regenerates. Luck affects every action in a small way.

    The Console

    • To cheat by raising an attribute in Oblivion, you need access to the console, which allows you to type commands for the game. To enable the console, open the Oblivion.ini file in the Oblivion folder. Hold "Control" and "S" to search for bAllowConsole. Change the number after bAllowConsole to 1 in the Oblivion.ini folder and save it. To open the console, enter the game, then press the "Tilde" (~) key.

    Raising Attributes

    • Every time a character gains a level, he can raise certain attributes. To raise attributes more quickly, a player can use the console. After opening the console with the "Tilde" key, a player can type in modpca, then the attribute he wants to raise, then the amount he wants to increase the attribute by. One example would be to type "modpca agility 25," which would increase a character's Agility by 25 points. If the value of the attribute increases past 255, it will reset to zero.
