How to Install DirectX SDK

The DirectX Software Development Kit (SDK) from Microsoft allows video game developers to implement DirectX into their games. DirectX is the name of a series of Application Programming Interfaces (API) which handle 3D graphics and multimedia content on computers running Windows and on the Xbox and Xbox 360 consoles. You can install the DirectX SDK on your computer in just a few steps.

     Open your Internet browser and visit the DirectX SDK download page on Microsoft's website (see Reference).

     Click on the "Download" button to start downloading the file to your hard drive.

     Double-click on the file to run it once you have successfully downloaded it.

     Click on "Next" to start the installation process. Once the installer has finished setting up the program, click on "Finish."
