How to Import a Mass Effect 2 Character to a New Game

"Mass Effect 2" is a sci-fi roleplaying game that casts the player as the captain of an interstellar space cruiser. After beating the main quest, the player has the option to import his saved data to a new game. He can then play through the whole game again, this time with the equipment and advanced skills that he picked up in his first play through. Not only will the main character preserve his rank and level, but so will his subordinates.

     Play through the main quest line until you beat the final boss.

     Watch the ending cinematic and wait for the credits to roll. Once they're done, the game will ask if you want to "Continue Playing" or "Start a New Game Plus."

     Select "Start a New Game Plus." You'll return to the beginning of "Mass Effect 2."
