How to Change the Resolution in Garry's Mod

Computer games have the option available to change the game's resolution, which changes how many pixels the game is displayed by. Years ago, a common resolution was 800 by 600 pixels. Since then, the resolutions have increased drastically and provide a much better view. Changing resolutions can be very simple and can be done quickly. When you increase a resolution, objects appear smaller but you have a larger area to view them in.

     Run your Garry's Mod game.

     Select "Options" from the Garry's Mod main menu. Select the "Video" tab.

     Select the drop-down "Resolution" tab.

   • 4

     Scroll to and select the resolution you want to run your Garry's Mod game in.
