How to Put Downloaded Maps Onto GMod

"Garry's Mod 10" is an independently developed and released physics toolbox game without any predefined goals or aims. In this game, your primary purpose is to entertain yourself, spawning characters from other games and building contraptions. By default, you only start "Garry's Mod 10" with one map installed. However, once you have downloaded a map from the official website or a community-run website, you can install it onto your copy of the game with ease.

  Open the folder containing your downloaded map. This was specified when downloading the file.

  Right-click the file and select "Extract All" in the right-click menu. Wait for the file to extract and open a new folder.

  Open your "Garry's Mod 10" installation folder. This is in the "steamapps/USERNAME/garrysmod" folder within your Steam installation folder, which was specified when installing Steam.

  Double-click "garrysmod," followed by "maps."

  Drag the extracted map folder into the "maps" folder to complete installation.
