How to Become a Guardian in Dragon Age Origins Awakening

"Dragon Age: Origins -- Awakening" is the expansion pack to the 2009 game "Dragon Age: Origins." With the release of "Awakening" came new enemies, skills, equipment and specializations, such as the Guardian. Specializations allow your character to learn advanced skills and techniques. Only the Warrior class can learn the Guardian specialization. To become a Guardian, you must find the "Manual: Guardian" item that teaches your character this specialization.

     Travel to Vigil's Keep.

     Speak to Herren at his shop, located to the right of the main gate of the keep.

     Select the "Other" tab.

   • 4

     Purchase the "Manual: Guardian" for 12 gold pieces. Once purchased, the Guardian specialization is automatically unlocked for your character.

     Earn enough experience to gain a level. At the level up screen, select "Guardian" under "Specializations" to become a Guardian.
