How Do I Do Dungeoneering in RuneScape?

In "RuneScape," dungeoneering is a trade skill that allows a player's characters to travel increasingly deeper into the Daemonheim dungeons. There, players battle against enemy monsters in pursuit of experience points, valuable loot and camaraderie. Daemonheim dungeons can be traversed alone or with a group of up to four other players. Working to level up a character's dungeoneering stat comes with benefits of its own, as the deeper and more complex levels of the dungeon contain some of the highest tiered items in the game.

Instructions

    • 1

Go to the Daemonheim peninsula. You can get there via the ferry that appears on the River Lum, between Lumbridge and Al Kharid. You can also get there by walking through the Wilderness.

    • 2

Follow the only path to Daemonheim Castle, which is at the highest point of the peninsula.

    • 3

Talk with the dengeoneering tutor at the east side of the Daemonheim Castle entrance. He will provide you with a ring of kinship, which you need to have to begin dungeoneering.

    • 4

Place all of your items, other than the ring of kinship, in the bank vault of the castle. The Daemonheim dungeons are quarantined, and you can only enter them if you have equipped the ring of kinship.

    • 5

Left-click your mouse on the ring of kinship to open the party interface.

    • 6

Click on the "Form Party" button. You will now be able to enter the Daemonheim dungeons.

    • 7

Walk to the castle courtyard, where on your right and left will be entrances to many dungeons of Daemonheim. Walk into one, and you will be asked to select a floor and complexity level.

    • 8

Choose a floor and complexity of one for your first time in the Daemonheim dungeons. After completing this first dungeon, you will be able to battle in subsequent floors with higher complexities. After completing each of the floors, your character will receive points in his deungeoneering stat. Certain floors of the Daemonheim dungeons can only be entered by characters with a high enough dungeoneering stat. By increasing the complexity level for the dungeons you enter, you increase the number of dungeoneering points you will receive upon completing the dungeons.
