How to Setup Rumblepad With Assassins Creed 2

The Rumblepad is a specific brand of controller designed to work with the PC gaming platform. It features vibration abilities that mimic controllers from consoles like the Nintendo 64 or the PlayStation 3. If you want to set up your Rumblepad to work with the PC version of "Assassin's Creed 2" you just have to adjust the settings of the game to allow for this to happen.

  Plug your Rumblepad into your computer (if you are using the wired version). The cable attached to the Rumblepad goes into any USB port on your computer. If you are using the wireless version of the controller, insert the included USB transmitter into a USB port on your PC.

  Insert the "Logitech" CD-ROM that came with the Rumblepad into your computer to automatically load the controller's installation utility. Click "Next" to install the Rumblepad software and device drivers. Reboot your computer to finish installing your controller.

  Insert your "Assassin's Creed 2" game disc into your PC. Click "Play" when the launcher opens to start the game.

  Click "Settings" and "Controller." Look at the current configuration of the Rumblepad to see if you have to make any changes based on your preferences. If you do, use your mouse to click on the listing for a specific command and press the button on your Rumblepad that you want to use to perform that command. For example, if you want to use the "1" button on the Rumblepad to punch enemies, click the "Punch" option on screen and press "1" on the Rumblepad. The selected action is assigned to that controller button.

  Click "Back" to return to the "Assassin's Creed 2" menu. Click "Start" to begin the game. Control your on-screen character using the Rumblepad.
