How to Turn Into a Vampire in the Sims 3: Late Night

If you've found yourself beguiled by Bridgeport's creatures of the night and want to join their ranks, you'll find that it's fairly easy to find an obliging vampire to turn you. Becoming a vampire has distinct advantages --- your skill progression increases more quickly at night, your mind control abilities gives you an edge in social interactions and, though you're not immortal, you'll live longer than the normal Sims around you. There's still the matter of quenching your new thirst for blood, though, which you can satisfy by feasting upon another Sim, eating plasma fruit or ingesting plasma packs. If you're up for a night of clubbing and schmoozing around Bridgeport, you'll be able to enjoy all the macabre thrills of vampirism.

Instructions

  1. Finding a Vampire

    • 1

Visit a Bridgeport cocktail lounge that admits the general public if you don't already have at least one celebrity star.

    • 2

Go to Plasma 501, Bridgeport's local vampire hangout, once you have at least one celebrity star.

    • 3

Look for a Sim with slightly translucent skin and glowing eyes. If you see one matching this description, you've found a vampire.

    • 4

Introduce yourself with the "Friendly Introduction" social.

Persuading a Vampire to Turn You

    • 5

Befriend your new vampire acquaintance by repeating friendly interactions from your social menu until your relationship changes from "Acquaintance" to "Friend."

    • 6

Select the "Ask to Turn" interaction from your socials menu.

    • 7

Head home and go about business as usual after you see an animated gush of blood and a flurry of bats around your Sim. You'll see the animation again two to three game days later, indicating that your transformation into a vampire is complete.
