The price of moving the elevator from the surface into the mining area is $30, a hefty fee to say the least. However, keep your money in your pocket and save the time it takes to travel on the elevator. Press the "B" key when you are standing at on the surface and you will be instantly transported down into the mine.
The "B" key is also extremely helpful if you become trapped in the mine, as it will transport you to a new location. You can use the "T" key in this situation, too.
Keep Selling
Your mines can cave in at any time, resulting in lost ore. So unless you want to waste the fruits of your labor, it's important to keep selling your minerals. The best approach is to sell the moment you find gold and especially platinum, as these are the most valuable discoveries. You should also sell every time you mine 10 units of silver.
Change Rates
Read the rates every time you walk into the bank, as these will tell you how much money you will be offered for your minerals. But don't just except whatever you are offered; a trick will change the rates in your favor. The rates change every time you go to the bank, so keep entering and exiting until you get great prices. The highest prices you are likely to see are roughly $20 for silver, $60 for gold, and $300 for platinum.
Other Cheats
Some objects you find in the game will be unlabeled. Since they could be anything, a chance exists they are hazards. To find out what one of these items is, keep clicking on it and the information will reveal itself.
If your health is ever running low, one simple cheat will give it an ample boost. Hold down the "A" key and your health meter will increase to 120 percent.
