Insert the Nintendo DS "Pokemon" title that you want to migrate the Pokemon to into the system's DS game cartridge slot. Insert the GameBoy Advance "Pokemon" title that you want to migrate the Pokemon from into the systems's GBA game cartridge slot..
Turn on the Nintendo DS system and tap the Nintendo DS game icon to launch the title. Select the "Migrate from (game title)" option on the game's main menu to launch the migration feature.
Tap the Pokemon that you want to migrate to the Nintendo DS "Pokemon" title and confirm your selection. The Pokemon will now be sent from the GameBoy Advance game cartridge to the Nintendo DS game cartridge.
Turn off the Nintendo DS system and remove both game cartridges from the system's game slots. Turn the system on and tap the "Settings" icon.
Tap the "Calendar/Time" icon, followed by the "Calendar" icon. Tap the arrow above the "Day" heading to advance the calendar one day. Tap the "Confirm" option to save the settings.
Tap the "Go Back" option, followed by the "Quit" option. Tap the "Yes" option to restart the system.
Insert the Nintendo DS "Pokemon" title into the DS game slot and insert the second GameBoy Advance "Pokemon" title into the GBA game slot. Tap the DS game icon to launch the game.
Select the "Migrate from (game title)" option on the game's main menu to launch the migration feature. The game will now detect that you have changed the system's calendar and reset the calendar.
Turn off the Nintendo DS system and remove the second GameBoy Advance "Pokemon" title from the GBA game slot. Insert the first GameBoy Advance "Pokemon" title into the GBA game slot and turn the system on.
Tap the DS game icon to launch the game. Select the "Migrate from (game title)" option on the game's main menu to launch the migration feature. Since the calendar has been reset with the second GameBoy Advance "Pokemon" title, you can migrate a second Pokemon using the original game cartridge.
