Cheats for My Japanese Coach DS Action Replay

While learning Japanese can be fun, especially when it involves solving puzzles and playing Whack-a-Mole, it can also prove exhausting. Sometimes when you boot up "My Japanese Coach" on your Nintendo DS, you might just want to relax and enojoy a mini-game or two. While the main goal of the game is to teach you Japanese, you can use cheats with an Action Replay device to enjoy yourself even if you are having trouble remembering the kanji for "work."
  1. Whack-a-Mole

    • The Whack-a-Mole game you play early in the game to remember words written in Roman letters is fun but occasionally frustrating, especially when the pesky moles start moving too fast. To slow them down, go the cheats menu and enter "SLOWMOLE."

    Word Search

    • Looking through rows and rows of type trying to find a specific word can just be too much work sometimes. If you want to get past the word search level for your current lesson, input "LOSTANDFOUND" into the cheats menu.

    Platforming

    • The platforming levels you play throughout the game become surprisingly difficult, especially for an educational title. To earn infinite lives in the platforming levels, type the cheat "NEVERSAYDIE."

    Spelltastic

    • The "Spelltastic" mini-game functions similarly to Hang Man, and like Hang Man, if you guess too many wrong letters, you're finished -- at least for that round. You can put "GIVEUSACHANCE" in the cheats menu to receive unlimited guesses during "Spelltastic."
