How to Get Mew on Pokemon Emerald Without a Gameshark or Action Replay

Mew is one of the most powerful Pokemon, as he possesses the DNA of every other Pokemon in existence. While he is featured in classic "Pokemon" games like "Pokemon: Yellow" he was one of the most rare Pokemon in the Game Boy Advance "Pokemon: Emerald" game. Instead of using hacks, you can use the Game Boy Advance wireless adapter to connect with other players and gain access to Mew when they give you a Mystic Ticket that was only handed out at specific events.

Instructions

- 1
  Connect the wireless adapter to the top of the Game Boy Advance. If you have the "SP" version, connect it into the top of the Game Boy.

  Go to a location where wireless Internet is available. Follow the on-screen connection menu to connect to the network. Most networks will connect automatically.

  Load the "Pokemon: Emerald" game. Take your character to a local grocery store. Travel around the store and look for a clipboard. Press "A" to load the clipboard contents.

  Scroll down on the clipboard and select "Connect to All Users." Once connected you can interact and play with all Game Boy Advance users that are playing "Pokemon: Emerald."

  Go to the cashier at the grocery store and press "A." At the prompts, select "Request a Gift." Now one of the users will send you a mystery gift.

  Press "A" to open the mystery gift. It will reveal a "Mystic Ticket." Use the ticket to ride the farry to Island Eight.

  Travel around the grasses of the island until you run into a battle with Mew. At the end of the battle, use an Ultra Ball to capture Mew and add him to your collection.
