Pokemon Puzzle Challenge Cheats

Unlocking Bellossom, Igglybuff and Marill

• "Pokemon Puzzle Challenge" has several unlockable characters. Each character requires you to perform a different combination of steps to unlock. To unlock Bellossom, fight in Normal or Hard mode and, before reaching Clair, defeat an enemy in less than 30 seconds to fight Lass. Defeat Lass, and you will get Bellossom. To unlock Igglybuff, defeat the entire game in Easy mode. To unlock Marill, fight in Normal or Hard mode and, before reaching Clair, make a four-chain, and then defeat a swimmer.

Other Unlockable Characters

• The remaining characters all require playing in Normal mode or higher and completing an action before reaching Clair. Last for at least four minutes against any opponent to fight Pokefan, and then defeat Pokefan to unlock Pichu. Gain access to Pikachu by defeating Gentleman, whom you confront by making a six-block combination. To unlock Sentret, make a seven-chain to fight Beauty, and then defeat Beauty. Make a 10-block combination to battle Pokefan; overcoming Pokefan nets you access to Togepi.

Enhanced Game-Play Cheats

• Certain cheat codes give you enhanced powers and special advantages to make the game less difficult. To obtain the maximum speed increase, at the beginning of the game, when Pikachu smiles, press "B," "A," "Left," "Left." This will increase speed from 50 to 99. To disable block stops, press "Left," "A," "B," "Up" when Pikachu smiles. This will stop the blocks from pausing after you make a chain or block.

Other Cheats

• You can unlock two extra challenging modes on the game. To unlock Super Hard mode, highlight "Hard" on the option screen, hold "Select" and press "A." Highlighting the "Super Hard" option, and then holding "Select" and pressing "A" opens up Intense mode. To unlock more options, go to the options screen, hold "Select" and press "A. " Go to the Records screen, hold "Select" and press "A" to unlock more records.
