How to Get Old Sea Charts in Pokémon Emerald for GBA

In "Pokémon Emerald" for the Game Boy Advance, you need the Old Sea Chart to find the Pokémon Mew. In the past, players could obtain the Old Sea Chart through Nintendo special events -- but now, the chart is unavailable. However, you can still get to Mew by using a GameShark cheating device. Entering the correct cheat code into the GameShark will transport you to Mew on Faraway Island, without using the Old Sea Chart.

  Insert the "Pokémon Emerald" cartridge into the GameShark, and then insert the GameShark, with the cartridge attached, into the cartridge slot of the Game Boy Advance. Turn on the system and open your game file.

  Hold down the "L" button when you are ready to be transported to Faraway Land, where Mew is located.
