How to Get GS Ball With the Game Shark

The GS Ball is a special item found in the "Pokemon Gold" and "Pokemon Silver" games for the Game Boy Color. The games, released at the same time as two similar versions of the game, are compatible with the Game Shark cheating device. Players can use a Game Shark to obtain the object by entering a specific code. The game cartridge must be inserted into the Game Boy Color with the Game Shark attached in order to function.

Instructions

  Insert the Game Shark device into the Game Boy using the end that resembles a game cartridge.

  Insert your game cartridge into the Game Shark's open slot.

  Turn the switch on the top of the Game Shark to "On," and power up the Game Boy color.

  Select "Enter Cheats" at the first screen, and enter "013F2D0."

  Press "A" to confirm the cheat code.

  Select "Start Game" to enter your "Pokemon" game.

  Travel to the closest Poke Mart in any of the game's towns.

  Talk to the Poke Mart's attendant to purchase the ball.
