Game Boy Pokemon Crystal Cheats

"Pokemon Crystal" is the third installment and a remake of the second generation's Gold and Silver versions of "Pokemon" games. In addition to introducing more than 100 new Pokemons, Crystal version also is the first to introduce Pokemon battle animation. Of course like many other versions, glitches were discovered and as a result many cheats occurred.

Cure for Confusion
- Confusion is perhaps the most annoying status effect as it can prevent your Pokemon from attacking. However, a good cheat for getting your Pokemon to get an attack in is to hold "A" for approximately three seconds while your Pokemon declared a move. This enables you to attack as if your Pokemon is not confused.
Shiny Dragonair
- The Dratini, Dragonair and Dragonite family is one of the most powerful dragon families in the Pokemon game. To catch a shiny Dragonair, you will first need to acquire the Super Rod and then head to the Dragon's Den just north of the Blackthorn's gym. Enter the den and fish around the water until you encounter a shiny Dragonair. Be sure to have enough PokeBalls to catch it.
Hidden Power Boost
- A way to increase the strength of your Pokemon is to use power boosts such as Calcium, Protein and Carbos. However, a secret way to increase their strength without spending money or using items is to catch the Pokemon whose sex is opposite of yours. For example, if you are a male trainer in the game and catch a female Scyther, it will be stronger than if you were to catch a male Scyther.
