How to Use Action Replay Cheats in Pokemon Fire Red

Action Replay Hardware

  Plug your Action Replay device into your Game Boy Advance's cartridge slot

  Insert your "FireRed" game cartridge into the Action Replay device's cartridge slot.

  Turn on your Game Boy Advance. If your Action Replay device recognizes "FireRed," you will see a prompt with the name of your game and the number of codes the Action Replay has for that game. If this is the case, proceed to the "Game Recognized" section.

  If your Action Replay device does not recognize "FireRed," you will see a prompt that says "Current Game Not in Codelist." If this is the case, proceed to the "Manual Code Entry" section.

  Choose "Select Codes."

  Scroll through the selection of codes and press "A" on any code you want to activate.

  Press "Start" to play "FireRed" once you have enabled all of the codes you want to use.

  Choose "Yes" when your Action Replay device asks if you want to enter game details.
