How to Really Catch Celebi in Pokemon Silver Version

Celebi is a powerful legendary Pokémon first introduced through a Nintendo event for ̶0;Pokémon Crystal Version̶1; around the time of its release in 2001. Despite Internet rumors that claim you can get Celebi by catching all three legendary beasts and all three legendary birds, the only way to really obtain Celebi in ̶0;Pokémon Silver Version̶1; is by performing the Celebi Egg Trick glitch, which could potentially corrupt your game cartridge, or by using a Game Genie for Game Boy Color. To avoid corrupting your files, play it safe and use a Game Genie code to obtain Celebi.

     Plug the Game Genie into the top of your Game Boy Color and then slide the ̶0;Pokémon Silver Version̶1; cartridge into the Game Genie. Power on the Game Boy Color.

     Select ̶0;Code Entry̶1; and enter the following code: FB1-38B-910.

     Start the game and then select ̶0;New Game̶1; from the main menu.

     Go to Professor Elm̵7;s lab and select the middle Poké Ball. Note that while the preview image will still show Totodile, you will actually receive Celebi when you choose the middle Poké Ball.
