Pokemon has had a presence on all Nintendo platforms since the original Gameboy. Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire were two of the most popular games on Gameboy Advance SP. Due to their popularity, many individuals devoted substantial time to finding glitches and GameShark cheats for the game.

Glitches and Exploits
- There are many glitches and exploits that allow the player to extend their Safari zone time infinitely. If you bring a Pokemon with the Sweet Scent ability you can continually attract Pokemon without having to move and thus you will not use your steps. Similarly, you can also jump up and down in one position with your bike.
  
  To restore full health without a Pokecenter, you can simply deposit your Pokemon in your PC and then withdraw them.
GameShark: Ruby
- In order to input codes for Ruby, you must first enter the master code "DE00AAFD 2EBD05D0 530823D9 16558191".
  
  Obtaining rare Pokemon is one of the main purposes for cheating in Ruby and Sapphire. In Ruby, enter "13EAA696 65095035" and all your wild Pokemon encounters will be with Mews. Typing "89CF0941 3F293D81" will result in encounters with Deoxys.
GameShark: Sapphire
- Sapphire requires a different master code to enter further cheats, "DE00AAFD 2EBD05D0 B4564EFE 23F44BF2". In Sapphire, copies of the rare moonstone can be obtained by entering "6E9E1A32 38993A0A", while the similarly rare firestone can be obtained with "06DAE66C 3FA64153". Entering "C784FC61 63EBC3B6" will result in all Pokemon catching the highly beneficial Pokerus.
