Sonic Advance Cheats for Emeralds

"Sonic Advance" is a side-scrolling action adventure game for the Nintendo Gameboy Advance portable gaming system. "Sonic Advance" brings the familiar 2D characters of Sonic, Tails and Knuckles back into the fold to thwart evil Dr. Robotnik. The main goal of Sonic Advance is to collect a number of Chaos emeralds that are scattered about in different levels of the game. There are a number of tips and hints for finding the Chaos emeralds.
  1. Chaos Emeralds Tip

    • The different Chaos emeralds can be found in different Zones or levels in the game. Each Zone is split into a number of Acts. The Chaos emeralds are located in Zone 1, Act 1; Zone 2, Act 2; Zone 3, Act 2; Zone 4, Act 1; Zone 4, Act 2; Zone 5, Act 2; and Zone 6, Act. In each particular Zone and Act listed above has an emerald trampoline, somewhere in the level, that is used to get to the Chaos emerald.

    Emerald Trampoline Tip

    • To get to each of the Chaos emeralds, characters within the game must first find the emerald trampoline. The game characters, Tails and Knuckles, are the two best characters for finding both the emerald trampolines and the Chaos emeralds. Both Tails and Knuckles have the ability to fly a certain amount of distance, which makes it easier to get to the emerald trampolines and, ultimately, the Chaos emeralds.

    Moon Zone Tip

    • Once all of the Chaos emeralds have been collected, the game character, Sonic, will have to face an evil villain named Eggman. Once Sonic wins the battle against Eggman, he will be whisked away to a Moon Zone level. Once at the Moon Zone, Sonic will have to battle Eggman again in space. If Sonic can defeat Eggman at the Moon Zone level, the game will be completed and the Moon Zone will be unlocked.

    Sonic and Tails Tip

    • In Sonic Advance, the player can control both Sonic and Tails at the same time by pressing a series of buttons. To control both Sonic and Tails in the game, first go to the Character Select menu. Once at the menu, highlight Sonic and press "Up" on the control pad. Then highlight Tails and press "Down." Next, highlight Knuckles and press the "L Trigger" button. Move over to highlight Amy and press the "R Trigger." Finally, highlight Sonic again and press the "A" button. If done correctly, both Sonic and Tails can be controlled at the same time in the game.
