Monster Rancher Battle Card Cheats

As you become a monster tamer, breeder and fighter in Monster Rancher Battle Card for the Game Boy Color, you will find that some cards are unavailable to you. These cards can be unlocked only with hidden password cheats entered when prompted by the character of Mac. These codes are not found in the game but are necessary to complete your card collection.

Phoenix
- To obtain the legendary Phoenix card, which is numbered C-021, you will need to enter the password TECMOINC. Phoenix is the only character in the game that cannot be unlocked without entering a password. All other monsters are found on your journey.
Phoenix Moves
- The Phoenix monster features 12 unlockable move cards, including Beak, which is unlocked with the password POKEDEAD, and Talons unlocked be entering STRFRCE. You can obtain the Typhoon card by entering SCRTSTR and Hide Head with BTLCARD. Deal fire damage by unlocking Fire River with GENKIBOY and Fire Beam with GLDPEACH.
All Monsters
- Monster cards Nos. 123 to 125 can be used by all types but can only be unlocked if you know the following cheat codes: Enter TSBFTBLL to unlock Retreat. Grand End is unlocked with the password BADMOO, and Take Over is unlocked by entering BOMBJACK.
Breeder
- If you want to unlock three of the Breeder-type monster cards in Monster Rancher Battle Card, you'll need to know the passwords for the cards. You can unlock Fainted by entering KAGERO, while Twinkling is unlocked via the password ASTARTE. To unlock card No. 128, Reborn, enter DRKDLSN.
