How to Save GameShark Files for Game Boy Advance SP

Adding New Codes to your GameShark

  Locate any new codes you would like to add to your GameShark. A database of all GameShark codes for the Game Boy Advance is available at: http://www.gameshark.com/handheld/

  Insert your GameShark into the Game Boy Advance SP and load it up as normal. At the GameShark menu, select the game you will be playing from the list of available games. If your game does not appear on the game list, navigate your cursor to the button labeled "Add New Games" and hit the "B" button to select it. Enter the title of the game, and save it by pressing "Start."

  Locate and Enter the "Master Code" for the game you will be playing. A Master Code is required for any GameShark codes to have an effect. The Master Code may be multiple lines in length, so be sure to enter it completely and accurately. Once you have entered the code, save it by pressing "Select." This will return you to the Code Menu for your current game.

  Move the Cursor to "Add New Cheat" and press "B" to enter another code. Enter a name for the code and press "Start." Enter the new code and press "Select." Repeat this process for any additional codes.

  Select any codes you wish to run from the within the title menu for the game you wish to cheat in. Highlight any codes you wish to be active, and press "A" to activate them. Selected codes should appear to flash; when you have selected all the codes you wish to use press "Start" to save the codes and begin the game.
