How to Mix Records With Emerald & Ruby

"Pokemon Ruby" and "Emerald," released for the Game Boy Advance, are part of the Generation III series of Pokemon games. Generation III games let you mix records with your friends. By mixing records, you can share aspects your Pokemon world such as your secret base location, your Battle Frontier records and new town inhabitants. Up to four players can mix records at a time after receiving the Pokedex at the beginning of the game. Record mixing can be accomplished on any system that supports Game Boy Advance cartridges, such as the Game Boy Advance and Nintendo DS.

Instructions

    • 1

Enter any Pokemon Center in any city on both systems running "Ruby" and "Emerald." The city selection does not matter.

    • 2

Walk up the stairs located to the left of the Pokemon Center.

    • 3

Speak to the woman behind the third desk; she asks you which room you would like to join out of the three options provided: Trade Center, Colosseum and Record Corner.

    • 4
