How to Make Eevee Happy in Pokémon LeafGreen

Once you've proven yourself as a cunning trainer in "Pokemon LeafGreen" by acquiring Eevee from the Celadon Mansion, you'll want to start paying more attention to happiness level. This hidden attribute affects the power of the Frustration and Return moves, and also plays a significant role in a pair of Eevee's evolutionary forms. Each Pokemon has a happiness rating on a scale of zero to 255. Not being able to see Eevee's precise happiness value can be frustrating, but there are some in-game strategies you can utilize that will always have a positive effect.

  Place Eevee in your active party. Earn one happiness point by taking 256 steps.

  Go to Pallet Town and visit Daisy Oak. Get Eevee groomed to earn three happiness points within values zero to 199 or one happiness point for values 200 to 254.

  Feed Eevee vitamins. The HP Up, Iron, Calcium, Carbos, Protein, Zinc and PP Up will raise happiness. Earn five happiness points at values zero to 99, three at values 100 to 199 or two within values 200 to 254.

  Utilize Eevee in Champion, Elite or Gym Leader battles. Win the fight to receive three happiness points in values zero to 99, two in values 100 to 199 and one point at values 200 to 254.

  Raise Eevee's level. Each level you gain will earn five happiness points in values zero to 99, three in values 100 to 199 or two in values 200 through 254.
