How to Know If You Got an Egg in Pokemon Leaf Green

"Pokemon LeafGreen" is the 2004 Gameboy Advance remake of the original "Pokemon titles" that came out in the late nineties. The features the original Kanto region but also introduces a new area called "Sevii Islands." Players also visit the daycare center on island four in order to breed Pokemon and get eggs. Only a male and female Pokemon from the same egg group (as indicated in the Pokedex" ) produce an egg. To find out if you got an egg after dropping off the Pokemon, you must ask the old man in charge of the center.

Instructions

    • 1

Walk around after dropping off two Pokemon at the daycare center on island four. As long as it is a male and female Pokemon from the same breeding group, there is a 100% chance of getting an egg. Time differs for each egg to be bred.

    • 2

Speak to the old man that is standing by the fence to know how long it will take for you to get the egg. If he tells you the Pokemon are very friendly, then you only have to walk around for a couple of steps. If he tells you that the Pokemon are getting along, you walk more steps. If he says that the Pokemon, you must walk for an extended period of time to allow the Pokemon to become friends.

    • 3

Keep walking around as this is what triggers the egg to appear. Standing still delays the egg appearing to you.

    • 4

Speak to the old man again as soon as he steps outside the enclosure where the Pokemon are. This is the sign that your egg is ready for collection. You must have an open slot in your party to receive the egg.
