How to Multiply Charizard Into Charizard on Fire Red

Despite being a remake of "Pokemon Red," "Pokemon FireRed" for the Game Boy Advance incorporates features not originally found in "Pokemon Red," such as Pokemon breeding. By breeding two Pokemon you can create additional copies of a Pokemon, multiplying the amount of that Pokemon you own. When two Pokemon are bred, the Pokemon produced is always of the type of the female Pokemon. Some Pokemon, such as Charizard, are always male when found. However, it is still possible to breed Charizard by using the Ditto Pokemon with it. To breed Pokemon, you must visit the Day Care Center.

Instructions

  Capture a Ditto. Ditto can be found on Routes 13, 14, 15 and the Cerulean Cave.

  Travel to Four Island on the Sevii Island chain. You must have obtained the National Dex before you can visit the Sevii Islands.

  Enter the Day Care Center, which is the building with the orange roof at the north end of Four Island.

  Speak to the woman behind the desk inside of the Day Care Center. Select both your Charizard and your Ditto to stay at the Day Care Center.

  Take 256 steps outside. After 256 steps are taken, speak to the elderly man outside of the Day Care Center to receive a Pokemon egg.

  Take 5,120 steps with the Pokemon egg in your Pokemon lineup. After the appropriate amount of steps are taken, you receive a message stating the egg has hatched into a Charmander.
- 7
  Raise Charmander's level to Level 36, at which point Charmander evolves into Charizard.
- 8
  Repeat these steps to breed as many Charizards as you wish.
