Games: How Do I Get to the Top of the Tin Tower Where Ho-Oh Is in Pokemon Silver?

"Pokemon Silver" is a version of the Pokemon series of games made by Game Freak for the Game Boy Color. You play as as a Pokemon dueler trying to defeat the Elite Four and obtain all 251 Pokemon available in the game. One such Pokemon is the legendary bird, Ho-Oh, who resides in the Tin Tower. Although finding and completing the Tin Tower level is not necessary to defeat the villains of the game, it is if you wish to obtain Ho-Oh as your Pokemon.

Instructions

  Obtain a Ecruteak Gym Badge by defeating one of the gym leaders of Ecruteak, the main town of "Pokemon Silver." It does not matter whether you defeat Martha, Jeffrey, Grace or Ping.

  Visit Pewter City. Head toward the East gate. Talk to the man just to the west of the East gate. He gives you a Rainbow Wing. Return to Ecruteak.

  Head to the pond on the far north of the city. Enter the house that has the Tin Tower.

  Walk to the exits of the first two levels. The exits are directly in front of you.

  Walk to the right-most room in the third level you reach. Walk out the second door in this room, all the way to the left through several rooms. Then, walk up again to a second door, then right through several rooms again. The last room has the exit to the next level of the Tin Tower.

  Walk to the exit door and head left through two more rooms. Walk through the central room and exit to the left through one small room and then the exit room to the next level.

  Walk to the top right and exit through two rooms, then turn directly downward to a long and narrow room. Walk left again through two small rooms and head downward through seven rooms to the last which has the exit to the next level.

  Walk to the top of the map, turn right and go all the way to the right. Turn down again and walk all the way down through this long room. The exit is at the end of this room.

  Make a clockwise circumnavigation around this level to reach the exit, which is a portal, to the next level. If the level were a clock, your starting position is at 9 o'clock and the exit is at 6 o'clock.

  Head downward to reach the next portal. Enter the portal. Head left to the next portal. Head upward in the new room you find yourself in and then take a left to find the next portal and enter it. This puts you in front of the stairs to the top of the Tin Tower. Take them and there you find the Ho-Oh resting. Fight it to capture it.
