How to Get the Most Coins at the Slot Machines in Pokemon Leaf Green

The slot machines in Celadon City in "Pokemon LeafGreen" accept up to three coins and have a max payout for getting three 7s in a row. Each coin you insert increases the amount of lines you play. The best way to earn the most coins is to time your button presses to maximize your chances of getting three 7s in a row. Earning many coins is useful because you can use them to claim prizes, such as Porygon and Dratini.

Instructions

  Enter the Game Corner in Celadon City and talk to each patron standing next to a slot machine. Some will give you coins, at no cost, to play with.

  Walk in front of a slot machine and press the "A" button to begin playing it.

  Press the directional pad downward three times to insert three coins into the machine. This allows you to play three lines at once, which maximizes your chance of hitting three 7s in a row. Note that the slot machine wheels will automatically spin after you insert your coins.

  Press the "A" button right when you see the Pikachu head and Voltorb to maximize your chance of stopping the first spinning wheel on the 7.

  Press the "A" button again right when you see the Pokeballs and Voltorb to maximize your chance of stopping the second wheel on the 7.

  Press the "A" button a final time right when you see the Staryu and Slowpoke head to maximize your chance of stopping the third wheel on the 7. You will receive a max payout of 300 if you happen to stop three 7s in a row.

  Continue playing the slot machines to get three 7s in a row until you have the desired amount of coins. You can trade in your coins for items and rare Pokemon by talking to the attendant standing behind the counter.
