How to Get Rare Candy on Pokemon LeafGreen for Game Boy Advance

With the exception of the one of a kind Master Ball, Rare Candy, which automatically raises the experience level of one of your Pokemon by one, is the rarest item in "Pokemon LeafGreen." Even if you scour the continent of Kanto, you will find only nine Rare Candies. However, a classic cheat that takes advantage of the glitch Pokemon, Missingo, allows you to step around this issue and get as many Rare Candies as you want.

  Gather the nine freely available Rare Candies from Mount Moon, the second deck of the S.S. Anne, the third basement of the Game Corner, the sixth floor of the haunted tower in Lavender Town, the tenth floor of Silph's headquarters, the home of the game warden in Fuchsia City, the Pokemon Power Plant, the basement of Pokemon Mansion and Victory Road.

  Save at least one of your Rare Candies and place it in slot five in the Items menu.

  Travel to Viridian City and speak with the old man who teaches you how to catch a Weedle.

  Fly to Cinnabar Island and surf alongside the east coast. Defeat or capture Missingo, the glitch Pokemon who eventually appears. Your Rare Candy will have duplicated itself over 100 times.
