How to Get Infinite Rare Candies in Pokemon Ruby

Having infinite Rare Candy in "Pokemon Ruby" trivializes a lot of challenges in the Gameboy Advance title released in 2003. Rare candy allows the player to level up his Pokemon without having to battle or gain experience the natural way. "Pokemon Ruby" had several new cheat codes, including one for infinite Rare Candy.

Instructions

  Select "Continue" and resume your "Pokemon Ruby" game, or start a new one. Play until you reach the first Pokemon center and have some items in your bag.

  Go to a Pokemon Center and access the PC. Choose "Your PC," and deposit an inexpensive item such as a Potion into the box and save the game.

  Turn off the Gameboy, and insert the "Pokemon Ruby" into the cartridge slot on the Gameshark SP. The game's label must face outward.

  Put the Gameshark SP into your Gameboy Advance or Gameboy Advance SP handheld. Press the switch on the side to turn on the Gameshark SP, and turn on the Gameboy.

  Select "Enter Code" and enter 82025BCC 0044 to change the first item in your PC into a Rare Candy.

  Select "Enter Code" again and enter 42025BCE0063 000000320004 for an infinite amount of the first item on your PC.

  Return to the main code select screen. Highlight the codes and press "A."

  Press "Start" to resume the game. Visit the Pokemon Center again to check your PC. The infinite Rare Candy should now be the first slot item.
