When and How Do You Catch Natu on the Pokemon Crystal Game?

The tiny, Psychic- and Flying-type Pokemon, Natu, can be found only in one location in "Pokemon Crystal.̶1; Although Natu is a small creature, it learns several intense and tricky moves over time, such as Psychic, Future Sight and Teleport. Once a Natu reaches level 25, it evolves into Xatu. Since a Natu̵7;s wings aren̵7;t fully developed, it forages for food by hopping along the ground. Natu are common in ̶0;Pokemon Crystal,̶1; no matter what time of the day you hunt for them; you just need to know where to look.

     Leave Violet City from the southwest exit to enter the Ruins of Alph area.

     Walk through the tall grass outside of the caves until you find a Natu. You will encounter a wild Natu 90 percent of the time when you meet a wild Pokemon in this area.

   • 3

     Disable the Natu with techniques such as Hypnosis and Thunderwave. When a Natu is sleeping, paralyzed or frozen, it becomes easier to capture in a Poke Ball. When its health meter turns red from taking damage, throw a Poke Ball to catch the Natu.
