In "Pokemon Emerald" for the Game Boy Advance, you play as a trainer who must battle rivals Team Aqua and Team Magma while discovering and fighting new Pokemon characters. The Thunderbolt ability is a powerful one to teach your Pokemon in this 2005 title, as this electric-type attack is forceful and accurate -- and can paralyze some foes. The simplest way to obtain Thunderbolt is to win it by gambling in Mauville City's Game Corner.
