Go outdoors in the game and press the "R" button on your Nintendo DS to turn on your Radar device.
Press "A" to send out radar waves. As you travel around an area, eventually a blip will come up on the radar, as indicated on the top screen on the DS.
Position your character on the bottom screen so that he's on top of the point indicated on the Radar. Press "L" to take out your drill, and then "A" to drill into the ground.
Battle Mode
Use the D-Pad or the Touchscreen to select the "Rock," "Paper" or "Scissors" attack icon. Press "A" to confirm your selection.
Select "Fight" to continue battling, "Escape" to run away or "Change" to change your dinosaur.
Choose the attack icon with the jagged edges around it to execute a Critical Move. Sometimes during battle, the game will decide that one of the three attack options is a viable option than the rest, making it a Critical Move. When selected, this attack will prove more powerful and effective than previous attacks, and may make the difference in battle.
Continue attacking until the enemy's health goes down to zero, which causes it to fall in defeat.
